To me,“5-star” denotes ranking highly in the five key points of services, relationships, attention to detail, material/product/amenity quality, and intriguing designs/style/ambience. Would you agree that most people have no problem paying more so long as they receive the quality they paid for?

As a tourist looking for attractions to visit in Manila, start by fueling up at any of the markets such as Divisoria, Quiapo, or Salcedo weekend markets. The first thing I want to do is taste the local cuisine. Admittedly, I tiptoe into odd or spicy flavours, but I like to try everything. Grab a snack, a beverage, and then a taxi so you can get through traffic and have a light nosh.
In all of my travels, I save the biggest landmarks and sights for last. The first couple of days are for shopping, after which I see the sites unencumbered by bags. That simple step gives me the ability to slow down and experience culture.
