Before beginning your studies, choose a qualifying program, create your server account on the portal, and pay the initiation fee. You’ll receive a server ID number for your California RBS training. Complete Your Training Course.

Take The Exam.
When you’re ready, go back to the course portal and begin your exam. The exam typically takes about 2 hours. The exam is not timed, and you may take breaks as needed. You must finish your exam within 30 days of completing your California RBS training and get a 70% or higher to pass and receive your certification. You must also meet the 60-day certification period requirement to obtain your certification.
Get Your Certification.
Once you pass, you can download your certificate via the portal. You must provide your server ID number to your employer for proof that you’ve obtained RBS certification. Keep in mind that your certification will last three years. You must renew your RBS certification before the active period ends to remain compliant.
