CM Dhami laid the foundation stone of the new Haripur Ghat, said in the public meeting – Mother Yamuna called, that’s why I came.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Vikas Nagar Haripur and worshiped Maa Yamuna here. After this he laid the foundation stone of the new Haripur Ghat.

When CM Dhami reached the banks of Yamuna located in Vikasnagar Haripur, the workers welcomed him with slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Pushkar Singh Dhami Zindabad. As soon as the CM reached the ghat, he bowed to Mother Yamuna with folded hands. He took the blessings of Mother Yamuna, worshiped her and took her blessings.

On Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami worshiped Mother Yamuna and performed Aarti here. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the new Haripur Ghat here. After this he reached Ramlila Ground in Kalsi to address the public.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the work for which we had waited for a long time was done today. I am fortunate that today the foundation stone of Haripur Jamuna Ghat has been laid. When I went to the new MP, I saw that Kalsi is also there in the map of Akhand Bharat. Chinese traveler Hiuen Tsang had mentioned Kalsi in his travelogue. This is the area where travelers used to leave for Yamunotri after taking bath in Yamuna river. This area was lost due to divine calamity.

It is our responsibility to bring back the glory

CM said that Mother Yamuna called me. Ordered, son, do something. There was strong sunlight during the puja at the ghat, but I was emotional. There are many places of Krishna Leela on the banks of Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh. Here too, new projects should be started at places of mythological importance. Yamuna is the goddess of Uttarakhand, it is our responsibility to bring back her glory.

Said that our MP will also help in completing these projects till Delhi. Livelihood avenues will also open here. Passengers will come. Build home stays and hotels while working in the tourism sector. CM said that the number of passengers is increasing every year in Uttarakhand. The second Center and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has given in-principle approval for the widening of the Delhi Yamunotri Highway. We have to respect the people coming to Uttarakhand. Efforts are being made to generate self-employment in marginal areas. Aarti should be performed here not at one but at 10 places.
