England’s legendary all-rounder player Ben Stokes has made a comeback in ODIs. He has decided to play ODI cricket again to participate in the World Cup 2023. However, he has also made a big revelation regarding this. According to Ben Stokes, he had placed a big condition in front of England team captain Jos Buttler for his return to ODI.
Ben Stokes announced his retirement from ODI cricket last year due to workload. Announcing his retirement, Stokes had said that he was not able to give his 100 percent in ODI cricket and that is why he decided to retire from this format. However, Ben Stokes has now returned to ODI cricket once again.

He told that when Jos Buttler asked him to come back from retirement, he put a condition before him that he would not be able to bowl. Stokes made a big revelation while talking to BBC Sports and said,
The best thing is that there was no pressure on me to take any decision quickly. Getting a chance to play in another World Cup is great but going in as world champion and trying to retain the title, that motivates me a lot. I told Jos Buttler that if you want to select me in the team, then you will have to take the decision accordingly that I am not going to bowl. I liked that Jos Buttler talked about picking only the batsman.
